Highway Car Racing Game - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

We have been developing games since 2012. We have made several games in native C/C++ and Unity. Our focus has been delivering good quality games on mobile phones.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

I think the most challenging part is finding the right balance between game-play (simple to learn-hard to master), graphics, performance, size, etc.. The game should work well across all range of devices, so we find that challenging to achieve.

Vihag is the founder and director at Gameadu. He has been working on enterprise software development for 8 years before he started developing games at Gameadu since 2012. Since the last few years, he looks after product design and management.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

I am very fond of early classic mobile games like Tiny Wings, Fruit Ninja, etc. The reason would be the way they have been designed specifically for a mobile device and of course being challenging and addictive, yet simple gameplay.

How long have you been working on this app?

It took almost six months time to finish the first version of the game. We have been constantly updating it with new modes and features since then.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

To give user a car driving simulation experience with the thrill of game-play elements. Like I said earlier, we have tried to balance the performance, app size keeping in mind the whole range of device available today.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

There are many similar games in the app stores. What differentiates us is that we have multiple modes in the game including real-time multiplayer matches and leader-boards where users can compete to get to the top ranking.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

We are working on new models of cars and new maps to play the game. We will be providing more options for multiplayer matches including contests.
