SiAna Auto Services - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

We have prior development and coding experience. Our IT team has a great set of developers who are helping our chain of garages in modernizing IT infrastructure. We have developed mobile apps in bleeding-edge technologies such as Flutter, React Native, etc. We have also developed internal apps for vehicle service appointments, quoting, appointment booking, billing, invoicing, etc.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

Right from the prototyping phase of the app, we were clear that app should be have simple for end users. But all simple things come with great deal of internal complexity. Most of the challenging aspect was to design a simple interface that will that will simplify the user experience. Remaining challenges were easy solve, some of the notable mentions are testing across devices and integrating with third parties as we have a very little control on third parties.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

Some of the Favourite apps to mention are Youtube, Whatsapp, etc. These apps mostly focus on the simplicity of the user interface and at the same time provide a rich feature set.

How long have you been working on this app?

Apart of from initial 2 months of user interface prototyping, app developer was quite fast it took us less than couple of months to develop, test and publish on app exchange.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

Our focus while developing app was Security and Usability. these were the most important feature along with simple user interface. High Quality Content is another most important thing the we kept in mind while developing the app.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

SiAna App is Designed for Simple User Interface. Even a novice user can use the application right from day one. App is not complex hence we have seen users enjoying the app and its services. The is focused on providing widest set of services to customers. The app also provides one stop services for all car services starting from getting car service quote, appointment booking, bill payment.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

In future versions of the app, improvising existing features along with addition and selection of vehicle, vehicle information. We will also add customer collaboration and notifications on car servicing reminders etc.
