Incursion Defense - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

I would say yes. We developed small web flash games before. And Incursion Defense is the first big project on mobile.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

The most challenging was trust in the idea that you can finish and release the project. Since the time of development usually expands, it hits your motivation.

I always was in love with games and got lucky to be a part of our small team of friends; a team that I pride myself in.
When we did first try in game dev, I was nineteen and now I'm 29 and still excited about what I do.
Game development is only I have in my background.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

Telegram is on 1st place on my list. It’s the best messenger for me. Talking about games it is the Kingdom Rush series for sure, the most impactful on my game development inspiration.

How long have you been working on this app?

3 years.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

Strategic thinking, challenge, sense of humor, love to get hidden references to the popular topic, famous characters, or quotes.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

Of course, I play a lot of games in the niche and we hit the part of scenario and humor. Very unique Bosses mechanics and units instead of the tower provide a wider place for strategy.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

We strongly follow the rule: new chapter = new environment and mechanics so players never get bored because of monotony.
