Not really. I am 14 years old and this was my first app that I have created (using real programming). I did learn programming, however, I never actually put it to use.
Since this was my first app, I've created using real tools like Unity and C# code, I ran into numerous issues since I've never done it before. The most challenging aspect of developing this game was posting it onto the iOS App Store, since all the tutorials I tried to find online were outdated, and I received errors that nobody else had. To overcome these issues, I sent numerous emails back and forth with Unity and Apple.
I am 14 years old and I make games. My dream is to be a popular game developer and business owner. Being an entrepreneur interests me a lot, and I know it is definitely what I want to be in my future. Since it interests me so, I wanted to start early so I can reach my dream as soon as possible, and will continue trying my hardest to reach that vision.
Adventure Capitalist - I've always been fascinated with business, and this game gives me a special feeling of getting passive income which is one of my life-long dreams.
Ordia - This game inspires be because of its modern design and aesthetic, and pleasing sounds.
3 Months.
The main goal in mind when developing this app was making a game that is fun. Many games nowadays, in my opinion, are getting a little slow... and aren't very entertaining. I wanted to make a high-quality game that people can play for a while without getting tired of it, and I wanted it to have impressive graphics with little to no learning curve.
I am very proud of the graphics and design of my app. I really like how it looks really realistic, yet not looking realistic at the same time. I also like how I added little cracks and fog at the corners of the screen to add a perspective to the game as if you were a camera that followed the player in a harsh cold space environment. I wanted it to look like you were remotely connecting to the camera from Earth, so I added random color shifts and glitches to make it appear so. That is what I am most proud of for this app.
My future plans for this game is make the level much longer, so it is so long that it would take at least 10 minutes to get from the start to the end. This makes it so that the player doesn't get that empty feeling after finishing and thinking "now what"... but they do know there actually is an end.
Assuming that new users are reading this page, I would like them to share the app with their friends as getting exposure would be greatly appreciated.
About App:
Enjoy this game with amazing graphics of floating objects in space. Minor color shifts and distortions were implemented to give a space vibe to the player. You can't move backwards, you are on a (seemingly) endless journey through space.
