Yes. I have been programming since my high school days, and over the years, I have
gained experience by working on various coding projects and continuously improving my
skills.
One of the major challenges we faced during the development of our mobile app was the
need to optimize our resources while ensuring the app remained manageable. To achieve
this, we decided to use a single codebase for both our web and mobile apps. However, this
approach brought about platform-specific differences, especially in the user interface (UI),
which required meticulous attention to detail. We had to address numerous tiny
imperfections that could impact the overall user experience. This process demanded
significant time and effort to identify and resolve these issues effectively.
One of my favorite apps is Stripe. I appreciate its exceptional design and seamless functionality. It has consistently provided me with a smooth user experience. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate and utilize the app's features effectively.
Additionally, I admire apps like YouTube and Instagram, not only for their popularity but also for the remarkable engineering behind them. These platforms successfully deliver high-quality videos to billions of users, which is an impressive feat in itself.
The initial development of our app, including the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), took approximately seven months. However, we dedicated an additional six months to refining the user interface and making it more intuitive for our users. Currently, we are actively working on implementing further ideas that will enhance the app's user-friendliness.
When developing this app, we primarily aimed to address the growing demand for dermatologists and other specialists in the healthcare sector. We recognized the existing problem wherein people often resort to searching on Google for answers to their skin problems, which can be unreliable and even dangerous. Our goal is to provide users with a reliable and convenient way to access dermatological expertise. By offering a trustworthy platform, we enable users to seek proper guidance and avoid potential risks associated with self-diagnosis or relying on unreliable sources.
In the market, we can categorize dermatology apps into two groups: those based on deep learning and image processing, and those based on human expertise, which includes our app. While we are also working on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into our app, I believe it is essential to highlight that AI technology is not yet fully ready for real-world application in dermatology. Therefore, I prefer to focus on the innovation we bring to the human expertise-based category.
Unlike many other similar apps, we place significant emphasis on user feedback and continuous improvement. Our dedicated team of dermatologists constantly shapes and enhances our services based on the feedback we receive from our users. One of the challenges in this field is that dermatologists are not typically trained to diagnose and provide therapy recommendations remotely. However, our app incorporates features that facilitate the gathering of necessary information from patients, even if it was not initially provided. This allows dermatologists to access comprehensive data and provide accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment recommendations, leading to a more effective and personalized user experience.
In our future versions, we plan to introduce a collaborative system that enables dermatologists to work together more seamlessly on a patient's case. By involving multiple dermatologists in the examination process, we aim to minimize human error and enhance the accuracy of diagnoses. This collaborative approach is groundbreaking within this field, as it not only improves the quality of care but also reduces costs associated with misdiagnosis or ineffective treatments.
To all the new users reading this, I kindly ask you to install our app and share it with others in your network. Our goal is to provide a reliable dermatology service accessible to everyone. As our user base expands, it will become easier for us to establish partnerships with health insurance companies. This, in turn, will allow our users to benefit from our services at no additional cost. By spreading the word about our app, you contribute to our mission of making reliable dermatological expertise easily available to all.
