Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Yes, we do. Our strength is in web development.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

Since our strength lies in web development, we had to go through a steep learning curve to grasp the mobile development concept. We had to run some in-house training in order to get the team members involved up to speed.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

Google Docs/Sheets would be one of them because it allows for easy collaboration between our team members wherever they are. Telegram is another useful app – more than just a platform for communication between members, the team also relies on it for system status alerts.

How long have you been working on this app?

It took us almost a year from idea conceptualization to the release of the final product.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

We wanted to create a platform that gathers all the important trading resources for our users. By providing them with access to multimedia content, a calendar of events that they can easily sign up for immediate support through the Live Chat function, we look to deliver a seamless experience on the app, while keeping users engaged, informed and updated.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

PipProfit! focuses on providing quality content that resonates with our users and this is perhaps the app’s most distinct feature. Users can look forward to regular releases of educational material that include videos, webinars and market reports – all of which serve to bring them practical tips and actionable insights to help them in their trading/investing journey. Further, rather than being a utility-focused app (where trades are made on the app itself), PipProfit! is centered on user engagement by bringing them updates on trading news and Fullerton Markets’ latest offerings, as well as encouraging user-generated content. For example, they can register for events on the spot and upload images of their participation. We hope to build a strong user community through these features.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

We have several new features that we hope to introduce over the next few months that will continue to improve user engagement and better support partner activities. More details will be shared closer to the release of these updated versions.
