Combining dozens of possible scenarios related to parents caring for a sick child into a simple and intuitive interface.
Established in 2018, Myrtus Enterprises LLC was founded by Hadas Kanner-Golan, a commercial lawyer and a mother of 2 from Dallas, Texas, to develop OnCure mobile app.
- "FODMAP": I appreciate the extensive work done to provide anyone interested in adopting the Low-FODMAP diet a comprehensive guide and database, with easy-to-use search options, menus and detailed explanations. - "Sky Guide": A beautiful, innovative app that opens the user to a whole new world. The users feel as if they are astronomers exploring the universe.

Helping parents and other caregivers for children minimize medication mistakes when caring for their sick child. According to a research conducted in the U.S, medication mistakes are done by parents in an alarming rate of once every 8 minutes. Researchers mention busy schedules, tired parents, "changing shifts" between parents, and having more than one sick child as some of the main reasons to this problem. 'OnCure' was created to provide parents a reliable, easy-to-use tool to manage and track OTC fever reducers they give their children, and thus help prevent medication mistakes.
I developed OnCure after experiencing personally a confusing and stressful situation of struggling to remember when was the last time I gave dose of fever reducer to my child, when I can give the next one, and how I can safely alternate between fever reducers. After failing to find an app that provides a comprehensive solution, and after conducting additional research that has revealed the magnitude of this problem, I decided to develop an app that will cater precisely to parents' needs. I believe that I have achieved that by combining three key factors, that are currently not offered as a whole by any other app: Providing all the relevant information (dosage, timing, measuring tools, restrictions on use) through a clear, simple and intuitive interface. Building a dynamic and flexible medicine schedule that changes according to the user's needs, while adhering to medical guidelines, and eliminates the need to set any reminders in advance (unlike any other medicine reminder/tracker). And finally, synching all caregivers (both parents, grandparents, babysitters etc.) simultaneously, thus allowing for a smooth "change of shifts" with no need for texts or notes. An additional feature allows the user to add prescription information for a complete medicine schedule. This combination is unique to 'OnCure', and I am excited about the possibility of the app, contributing to reducing the rate of medication mistakes.
Among the additional planned features are symptoms and fever tracking, a tips and advice feature that will provide helpful content related to common children's healthcare issues, and an enhancement of the prescription feature, including additional useful tools and a permanent prescription option. Also planned is developing a version that supports 'Apple Watch'.
Since I believe 'OnCure' helps minimize medication mistakes, I would love users to share the app with all the other parents they know, so that as many parents as possible can enjoy this useful tool. And of course, I invite all the users to contact us with any requests or offers about additional features or tools they would like the app to include.
About App: When your child is sick everything can be (more often than not) a blur. When did you give that last dose of medication? Was it ibuprofen or acetaminophen? What is the right dose for each of these, and when is it safe to give the next dose? It's a lot of information to remember, and keep track of amidst a stressful situation, and the outcome of a possible mistake is disconcerting. OnCure is your easy-to-use, pediatrician approved tool to keep an accurate medication schedule for your child when they are sick. You don't need to remember anything, set reminders, take notes, or even update other caregivers. OnCure does it all for you - it will notify you of the right dose and timing and seamlessly update all other caregivers so that everyone is kept on the same page. You are invited to experience the benefits of the OnCure app for free, for the duration of the first episode of sickness of your child. Following that, the one-time payment unlocks unlimited use of the app for future episodes as well as tracking multiple children at the same time.
