CryptoMood - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Coding has been a hobby since childhood. I am lucky to have made it my lifelong profession, currently as part of the team that created the CryptoMood app. I started programming when I was 13 years old on an old Pentium PC, staying up at night experimenting in early versions of C#.net. Because of my interest, I was accepted to do computer science courses at my local university programming in C++, C#, Linux and also doing mechatronics. I became a certified programmer by the age of 15.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

To identify the data points that actually matter and to present important information in a concise and simple way so traders can understand quickly and act to make money. The CryptoMood app is designed for daily use and the amount of data we process and present is huge. So we spent a lot of time getting the accuracy and presentation right. As well as looking smart the UI/UX needs to make the information straightforward and actionable for a crypto trader.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

Those I use the most often - Spotify, Jira app, TradingView, Telegram. All are simple and easy to use.

How long have you been working on this app?

CryptoMood was in development for 10 months before it was officially launched.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

For traders to have a complete and live overview of the cryptocurrency markets so they can make better trading decisions.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

We have created a cryptocurrency fundamental analysis assistant which supports trading decisions. Our app does the entire leg work for a daily trader with no need for them to spend hours trawling the web in search of market information. None of the current news aggregators bring sentiment analysis and automated news analytics to mobile apps. Of the cryptocurrency market information available – CryptoMood analyses the most by volume and is the fastest. I am confident that we are the most technologically advanced and the market leader at the moment. We also provide CryptoMood API for our business partners so they can provide cryptocurrency market information to their own clients.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

It's quite challenging to provide accurate analytics and computations within milliseconds. But that’s how fast markets move, so we will continue to do it. From a user experience point of view, we act on the feedback that CryptoMood app users provide. We also bring new functions and data sources as they are created. Basically, we always add everything that brings cryptocurrency market knowledge as it becomes available.
