ConstCash - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Yes, I started my experience with mobile apps by releasing apps for Windows Phone systems. Over time, I started developing for iOS as well.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

Creating code is one thing, and creating code with the sense that it will be used by others is another. It is the people who validate the developer's ideas, and it is the people who influence the developer's work. I take my time to improve my life, but also the lives of others, so the most important and difficult aspect of working on an application is the contact and cooperation of the developer and users.

I am a programmer with passion, experience, and education. In my work, I create simple and advanced mobile applications and websites. I help in project analysis, UI/UX creation, programming, testing, up to maintenance. I am happy to share my knowledge and learn from others.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

Pinterest, OneNote: perfect, simple apps.

How long have you been working on this app?

A year and a half.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

Need to manage personal finances, but with the perspective that the data should be only available to us. After all, it's our finances - we decide with whom we want to share them.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

I based my application on the assumption that our data is stored inside our device - so it is exclusively ours and we do not share it with anyone. This is important, especially when it comes to finances. The app itself has many functionalities useful in everyday life, such as financial goals (which we can aim for), advanced statistics and reports (which we can verify), and a receipt scanner. All functionalities were created based on user feedback, and this is what I'm most proud of - I create software based on user needs.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

In future updates, I will be looking into developing the current functionality and adding new features. Among other things, I plan to have more powerful transactions, budget prediction,s or templates to quickly add transactions.
