Bosco: Safety for Kids - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Bosco is my 5th company. Started in digital marketing moved to AR and Sports Tech. Each time I built the best team of experts with a very wide experience in the fields we are developing in. In Bosco I identified a need I had as a parent to 3 kids and understood we can use mobile technology to solve this need. it is of course Android and IOS but also AI Machine learning Dara since and more.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

The most challenging aspect was building a user-friendly app that can provide a real time solution the brings real value to our users. I think that anyone that installs and uses BoscoApp will see that we did a fantastic work.

The interviewee, Mr. Enon Landenberg, is the founder of Bosco - a parental communication app that uses a unique technology to detect mood while respecting privacy. Bosco combines algorithmic analysis with special voice and text recognition software to analyze mood in real-time.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

Most of the apps I use are utility apps. This is also the way we developed BoscoApp as a utility app that can give a real value to the parents using it.

How long have you been working on this app?

We started BoscoApp over 5 years ago. In the first year we built the technology. In the next 2 years worked on the AI and ML building and training on real users while building a user base on over 500,000 families. In the last 2 years we are focusing on the monetization and of curse growth.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

I started working on BoscoApp from my personal need as a parent to 3 kids with a need to have some more peace of mind around the day to day of my kids so I can help them when my support is needed. So every parent around the world that wants to be a parent that knows more about the day to day of their kids so they can help them when their help is needed is our target users. And from the responses we receive from our hundreds of thousands of users around the world, we are fulfilling this need in a fantastic way.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

As a parent I know that parents don’t have the information they need to keep their children safe online. This has led to a dramatic increase in cyberbullying and crimes against children.

Other Parental Control software cannot analyze a child's voice to detect children's moods, and completely blocks potentially dangerous Apps, instead of monitoring for potential risks.

This is not the way we raise and educate our children nowadays. So we are not a Parental control App but a Parents Awareness solution. What we developed with BoscoApp is a user-friendly solution AI/ML based mobile application that can analyze a child's voice to detect a child’s moods, predict threats across a wide range of media, and alert parents in real time of risks and provides peace of mind to parents regarding their children’s online activities.

BoscoApp is an innovative solution that keeps loved ones safe without compromising their privacy.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

Our service is a work in process, we are constantly adding more and more new features and analysis of data. Additional to the ongoing development of the service we are going to introduce more features around the Cyber safety word for kids.
