I had tried a few 3D model viewer apps but did not like almost any of them. Or even if I liked a few, they became bad on newer upgrades. Now, we have launched a bunch of classic 3D games under HOLOFIL game store brand, and these are my new favorite apps as they recreate the magic of old classic arcade games like Tetris, Snake, Packman, and ping pong in 3D. Search for HOLOFIL on Playstore and you will find them.
The app was launched around Oct 2018 and went through new updates and upgrades from time to time.
At HOLOFIL, we are a 3D visualization display device company and wanted an app that further fits in our ecosystem of 3D model viewing and also supports our devices' features such as animation support, interactions, etc.
The most important difference in our app compared to other similar apps is the support of FBX animation support. So you can load an FBX file with animation that can play in the app. We also are one of the few apps that offer 3d animation export support.
We might support more animation styles in the near future, and AR support as well.
Use the app and give us your review and feedback. Check out our recently launched product HOLOFIL-cardboard (display device) that can use the animations created from this app to create holographic visual illusions. If you like the app, share it with others.
About App:
If you have multiple files for a single model, such as obj / mtl/ textures etc. put all your files (such as model, material, textures, etc.) in a single directory and compress it to create a single zip file for e.g. test.zip, and upload this single zip file in the app to interact with the model.
You can continue to upload single self-contained files like fbx, stl etc. if there are no extra files. So if more than one file for model, zip and upload zip file, if a single file, upload the single file directly.
