Yuser - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

I am the Director of Community Operations, therefore I am not strictly part of the development team for 'Yuser'.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

The biggest challenge for the team developing the app is trying to bring gamified rewards to social media and using it to reduce spam on our network.

Mike uses his years of social media industry experience to foster the growth of communities. Mike has been key in creating a wide net of industry connections and bringing onboard 'Yuser' some of the biggest influencers, advisors, and ambassadors. He is actively looking for ways to leverage business and social media opportunities in efforts of growing Yuser’s marketing, adoption, and forever expanding the pool of opportunities.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

We built 'Yuser' with the users in mind. So we chose to use a similar UI to 'Instagram', then build upon that framework with our gamified elements on top of it.

How long have you been working on this app?

The app has been on production since Jan, 2018.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

In January 2018, news came out about Facebook's misuse of users' data. This prompted us to create 'Yuser', which later in our development will integrate blockchain technology, which both helps secure users' data, but also provide us the ability to bring cryptocurrency to the app and provide monetization opportunities.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

While our app has similarities to other apps, our gamified elements are what really set us apart from other similar apps. Through gamification we provide a more engaging experience through challenges and our gifting economy. There will also be other big features further down our development roadmap.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

We have lots of big features that at this point of development we'd like to keep under wraps, but check out our website to stay up to date.
