Yes. Our Co-founder Satish, an alum of IIT K and IIM Bangalore has been a techie and tech entrepreneur. Founder Sachin Shukla has also had previous experience with Tech projects and startups. Setting up a tech team wasn’t challenging.

The concept took many years of thought process and experience. However, developing the app took 8 months, from ideation to launch, of both iOS and Android versions.
We had three words in mind when we started working on UPDEED- Appreciation, Gratitude, and Technology; and the objective was to create scalable impact worldwide.
The existing solutions in the market focus on journalism; whereas UPDEED provides voice and tools for networking to every individual, community, and organization. Anyone having an inclination to lead a meaningful life by contributing back to society through appreciation or networking with changemakers can start their journey.
We wanted to create a space that caters to the positive aspects of individuals, communities, and organizations. Other than two aspects, work-life and general social life, all of us have a third aspect of life where we want to create an impact and lead a meaningful life. Where we want to appreciate and encourage changemakers and look forward to joining hands and supporting them in their mission. When we think about that aspect, UPDEED is the only platform that would come into our minds. We call it a positive space on the Internet.
