To make the app compatible for all or maximum android versions was the most challenging.

I like Wordle, 2048, slither.io etc. Because they are challenging and keep your brain engaged ; )

How long have you been working on this app?

Since the last 3 months.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

Easy navigation: for this I put all the statuses either images or videos; either from Regular WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business in a single screen. Built in video player & image viewer: There should not be switching of apps for such simple things. Version compatibility: Made all the changes required for different versions of android (from 7 to 13) Versatility: Users should perform all the related tasks in a single task, such as video splitting for status update feature is incorporated in the app. Some novel features: I have added unique screenshot feature using which user can take screenshot of a video (after zoom & pan if required).

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

There are many apps on app stores which can save WhatsApp statuses. Most of them, or I would say, all of them (which I have tested) provide a complicated navigation. There are different tabs for images and videos where you have to swipe to switch them. Similarly, there is another option to select between WhatsApp & WhatsApp Business. I displayed all these (total 4 types) in a single tab view so that users do not have to navigate back & forth. Some of the apps don't have dedicated image viewer or video player which are available in this app.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

Besides saving status from WhatsApp I wish to add "SAVE LINK TARGET" feature which can save any media (image, video or audio) from a link. That is, app should be able to save audio/video/images using links from Instagram, Facebook, Smule, StarMaker etc. whichever is legally allowed.
