Pixel.Fun - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Yes, we've been working on Android and iOS apps for 7 years. Except 'Pixel.Fun', we also published 'AppLock', 'Messenger', 'Teen Patti King', etc. 'AppLock' is the most popular one at present. It’s an app for locking apps and hiding photos. Now it has 400 million downloads from the whole world.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

We want to be different than other pixel coloring apps on the market. It must be perfect, creative and attractive. The design had been modified for more than 10 times.

'DoMobile' is a mobile internet company formed in July 2011. It aims to develop excellent apps and games to make life better. Now our team has become one of the top developers in the Play Store. Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

First, absolutely, all our own apps! Protect privacy by 'AppLock', take notes by 'MixNote', open all chat apps and social media in 'Messenger'. They are all useful apps. Then 'Snapchat' and 'PayPal'. They are great for international chat and business.

How long have you been working on this app?

About 4 months.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

Firstly, 'Pixel.Fun' is a pixel coloring app for all ages. So it must be easy to use and has beautiful picture for coloring. Secondly, people need to relax after busy work or study. 'Pixel.Fun' can be played offline, you can start coloring at any time or place. Third, coloring streets with families and friends can be a happy and meaningful thing, especially when we are talking about the fact that smart phones drift people apart. So 'Pixel.Fun' supports syncing data on different devices.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

There are two innovations. 'Pixel.Fun' is not a color-by-number app for coloring unrelated pictures one by one. You draw small pixel pictures and eventually they become a big colorful world. So it’s a process of continuous exploration. 'Pixel.Fun' supports data sync, so your app data will never be lost and you can complete a street with friends and family together. Happy together!

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

We are planning to add new play modes in the future. Streets will become customizable, users will have more choices.
