I taught myself how to code in high school by making video games. Those never made it, but it did get me interested in coding and after many years of coding for fun, I finally came up with an idea worth finishing.
As a developer, you know exactly what your app does and how it works. However, what I thought of as user-friendly appeared to be quite complex. At one point, my mother tested some of the most basic features of the app and just bashed it. "Teun, I don't understand any of this, you need to make this a lot easier". She gave very useful feedback and I am very glad she gave it, but in such particular moments of harsh feedbacks, it mostly hurts.

WhatsApp is by far my favourite app. It's so simple and user friendly yet so useful. I can't imagine life without it and the app never gets or feels old.
Almost 7 months by now. I didn't work on it full-time, but the corona situation did provide me with a lot more time to work on it
Me and my friends wanted to collect our photos in one place and we ended up choosing Instagram for this. It was very complicated, not many felt like adding their photos and the quality was bad. I felt like this could be done easier and that a good app would stimulate them to share their and my beloved pictures.
In Palbum you can fully customise your profile and join multiple public/private groups. This way you can make a unique profile that tells a story for each group.
I want to make it possible to share an album outside of the app so that not everyone has to create an account to still enjoy what Palbum can offer to a group.
How many pictures do you have with your friends and how many of those do they actually have?
About App:
Palbum offers a fresh new way to share adventures with groups of friends.
Group members can upload to and view albums to gather all group photos in one place.
Share them with the whole world or just those that should see them.
Allow them to download high-quality versions of the photos to save them forever. Make a unique profile that fits your group and feel proud when you look back on all those good memories.
You can either build a following of your own or just keep it private and safely share your private pictures with those that may see them.
