What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

Optimizing the performance, using one code base for all platforms. Upgrading the app so that all interfaces with external interfaces like Microsoft, Google, iCloud, etc., keep working correctly.

Shazaam for recognizing new music, Buienalarm for notifying me for rain, and Flitmeister for warning me for speed checks.

How long have you been working on this app?

5+ years. It’s a constant process of updating it.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

At first, we developed it for ourselves to have a good overview of calendar appointments combining multiple work and private sources.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

The app is simple and easy to use. It’s the only calendar app to combine so many different calendar sources and also the only one running on all platforms; Windows, Android, iOS, and macOS. This is due to the fact that we are using one codebase and doing all synchronization in the app instead of in the operating system.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

Adding new features based on user requests.
