No, I have no coding experience. This is my first mobile app. I created it together with the company I hired. They had vast experience in coding and app development and they were my coding team in the creation process.
The hardest part was to make all functions and properties of the app intuitive so that every user would find them simple and easy to use.
Povilas Klusaitis is the founder of the New Habit app. He has a successful e-commerce business. He is also the president of the Toastmaster Club. Four years ago, he became very interested in the topic of habit formation. After reading many books about it, reviewing hundreds of video tutorials, he himself began to apply a variety of tactics in his life to form new good habits and try to get rid of the bad ones. A few years ago, he decided that he'd like to share his experience of habit formation with as many people as possible. So he set out to develop a habit tracking app, New Habit.
Headspace comes to mind. It’s a very good meditation app, full of useful content and it has a strong community around it.
I’ve been working on the New Habit app for 2 years now. It’s taken me a year just to get from the initial idea to launching the app on the App Store and Google Play.
Habits greatly influence our quality of life. However, to form a new habit, or to get rid of an old one, is a difficult task. Often times, people attempt to do it but give up because of the lack of will. New Habit app applies the best habit-forming practices and helps users in this arduous journey of changing themselves.
The main advantage of the New Habit app is its content. Compared to other apps on the market, we offer more than 300 new habit ideas. We also share the habits that brought success to famous people. Each habit has a detailed description, instructions, and recommendations, which will greatly increase the chances of developing a new habit successfully if followed.
