FaceOscar - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

We were involved in the creation of Visionbooks and Lumyer. Those apps are in the mobile animation market.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

The main issue is related to the large number of devices with different display ratio and different CPU/MEM power. The beta testing is the most challenging part.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

Tinder is a perfect sample of an easy to use app. Duo, it's the perfect video streaming technology.

How long have you been working on this app?

About 1 year, starting from the idea…

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

The need of people to be part of a famous story, so...to be a star! The illusion to be a star.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

Respects other apps, has a realistic final result and the contents are much more different. We would like to give to our users the availability to be in the shoes of their favourite actor/character. Other apps in the market didn’t have a large number or scene, like FaceOscar.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

We are planning to release 2 main features: the facestar with two faces (you and your friend in the same scene) and the ability to speak with your voice in the selected scene. Very soon we are releasing facefootball, a parallel app with football scenes.
