Yes, I'd developed several Android apps before starting with this one. I'm a full-time web and cross-platform mobile app developer. Android app development is one of my hobbies.
There were two main challenges. First, keeping users' data safe and synchronized. This app relies on the calendar feature which comes with email providers, Google Calendar, for example. So the data synchronization depends on the device's calendar synchronization, which can be difficult for some users to configure it. But I do what I can to help with that. Second, the app notification. This app is a planner/calendar app, users expect to be notified about their plans, but there are some limitations on some devices’ system which prevent the app from working on the background and sending notifications.
My name is Sirirat Sunthara. I graduated in Computer Science. I’ve been working as a programmer since 2015. I'm a full-time web and cross-platform mobile app developer. Coding and creation are my passion. I use all my apps, so I develop them based on my needs as a user, then share them with the world, and improve them according to other users' feedback.
My favorite app is Autodesk SketchBook. I like drawing, and this app works smoothly and feels akin to drawing on real paper. Another app I like is Vent. It's the app that lets you vent or write anything you want, and then people who don't know you will react to your vent and give you some moral support.
I started working on this app in August 2017, it was first published in October 2017. I've been developing and maintaining it for almost 3 years now.
Simplicity and utility, plus the app contain various cute and beautiful themes.
My app lets users pick an icon and color when they're creating a plan. This way, they can simply glance at the calendar and know what they've planned without reading the whole title of it. And it is a free app with no ads. I don't want to bother my users with ads, I know how it feels. All the features of this app are accessible to everyone.
The coming features of this app are creating a to-do list, adding individual notes to each repeated plans, and I'm adding more icons and more beautiful themes, of course.
Since this app is free with no ads, the only way I can make money off it is selling the themes. If you like this app, you can support my bills and the maintenance cost by buying the themes and kindly give feedback for further improvement.
Dreamie Planner is a simple app that you can note and plan on. You can write it as a diary or just mark the calendar with an icon to remember how you're feeling. We provide many icons for your event including feelings, famous places, sports, health and activities.
In addition to Light and Dark theme, Dreamie Planner provide multiple cute themes for you to make writing and planning routine more enjoyable.
Dreamie Planner also let you connect with your existing calendar like Google calendar to backup data on the cloud and use it on multiple devices.
** For using Dreamie Planner on multiple devices with the same calendar, make sure you edit note/plan via this app to sync the data between devices correctly. Editing calendar events on other applications won't update the event on Dreamie Planner. **
- daily / weekly / monthly / yearly planner
- define event icon and color
- mark event as complete
- connect with email calendar
