Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Yes. We worked as mobile developers for fast scaling startups or development agencies.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

Capturing the essence of what fasting is and what it means to the users. Is it “just” weight loss, or is it about slowing down and reflecting? We believe it is the second with weight loss as a welcoming side-effect.

Spotify. I think a perfect example of a fantastic service that personalizes to the users. Everything is just smooth and works well. I never noticed significant bugs, and I always know how to navigate around the app.

How long have you been working on this app?

Beginning of 2019.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

We wanted to make it easy and motivating to complete fasting and eating intervals and track the progress.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

Our app's name is CLEAR. We want to make the experience straightforward and personal. Fasting is about your journey towards a more calm and healthy you, and the app should reflect it. We do it by personalizing the fasting plans to you, developing the most flexible and straightforward fasting timer, and keeping all your data on the device.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

That is currently a secret, but we entered a 12-month redesign phase. On Android, you already can see a completely redesigned timer that makes it even easier to adjust and plan your fasting times.

Test the app and keep it on your phone. We will release some significant changes in the upcoming 12-months to create the most personal, flexible, and user-centered intermittent fasting app focusing on clarity for body and mind.
