Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Yes. We have about 6 years of mobile app development.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

To satisfy users' requirements for playing good & high quality media.
Like the “Bookmark” feature that we added recently, it seems very simple because KMPlayer 32 bit and 64 X for desktop already has it; however, it is challenging to develop it in other SW languages. We know that it is the most necessary feature that any media player should have, however, the other language makes it a little bit complicated. But we did it in the end.

PandoraTV / Youtube – Tremendous amount of media that is created by multiple users.
Timetree – It can organize the schedule for you and you can share it easily with your colleagues.
Vivino – Daily wine recommendation. Easy to search and to find out your favorite flavor.

How long have you been working on this app?

It’s been almost a year now.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

High Definition, 4/8K, UHD, Hardware acceleration, Optimization, Intuitive, Codec, Platform, Audience, playback, and much more.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

Compared to most of the multimedia players in the market, KMPlayer stands out for its performance. From low-end devices to high-end ones, it can be your go-to playback tool for almost all media that exists in the world.

Also, it can play short-term media which has been taken by the user, while playing 8K/UHD media on your palms.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

We plan to expand the list of available features and add those that users are eager to have. Not even Chrome cast, our new expansion for user experience plan is now on the line and user will witness that in near future
