Yes, the Treeps team has been developing mobile apps for almost a decade. We all worked together in a mobile app development studio, where we learned how to make exciting and valuable products. Jointly we have developed about 30 apps during this time.
The most challenging question is to find a product-market fit. It is essential to ensure that the idea can really benefit people as early as possible. There are always early adopters who will use almost any product, but figuring out that a mobile app can help many people is not easy. That's the most challenging part – predicting the value that users will see in the product.
Shazam is a straightforward and brilliantly realized idea. Notion: It would seem how you could reinvent the notepad, but it is very convenient. Todoist: As a suitable and straightforward interface as possible, as in the case of Notion.
It took about two months to develop the MVP, and since then, we've been releasing an update every 2-3 weeks.
First, we faced the problem of finding interesting things to do with the kids at the weekend. Then we looked in detail at Google Trends statistics for the frequency of "what to do?", "I'm bored", and similar queries. It turned out that millions of people in the U.S. ask this question every month, but there is not a single service that can answer this well broad question.
We understand that people's attention is the most valuable resource nowadays. We are all swamped in our lives, so we sometimes don't even have the time or energy to formulate a request. That's why Treeps automatically selects recommendations based on geography, location, time of year, day, and other parameters. We take pride in using Treeps algorithms to encourage hundreds of thousands of users to think about a happier and brighter life.
We are currently actively developing micro-courses in Treeps. We have noticed that many of the users' activities are part of the corresponding course. For example, "learn a few words in Spanish" can continue learning Spanish, "fold an origami flower" into learning the whole origami universe, etc. We see a great demand for courses and are refining the functionality and content to meet this need.
Imagine that you are now 80-90 years old. Do you regret anything you didn't get to do? Do you wish you had time to do something new? Try to make your life as happy as possible, not tomorrow, but right now!
Treeps will help you answer the question of what to do, choose creative tasks to complete: write a nice message to your parents, meet the dawn in a new place, buy coffee for a stranger, learn a few words in an unfamiliar language, and many other activities!
