How long have you been working on this app?

Less than a month.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

Actually, I came up with the idea of an app for COVID-related travel restrictions because I got tired of searching the web for reliable updated sources. I hope fellow travelers appreciate Open Borders as it is not an easy task keeping all the country data up to date.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

There aren't any other apps that let the user check the global travel conditions with respect to the coronavirus. Most travel apps will just point you to some government sites that may or may not have the relevant information. We check multiple sources prior to updates and present only the essentials, so the user can easily get the idea. Honestly speaking, we have lots of space to improve in terms of technology, but we hope the users appreciate the simple concept of easy-access, straight-forward information.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

It all depends on the success of this version. If people appreciate it, improving the app would be a natural step in its evolution. Collaboration with others is also something that can be considered.
