No. The PERFUMIST founder had no previous development or coding experience so we had to find the right partners to launch the first version of the app and the following updates.

Spotify (Again a top player of its own industry that we get inspired from. One of the best recommendation systems that exists with complex product information).
We have been working on the app for almost 10 years now with multiple versions.
Our goal is to help anyone anywhere to find the ideal fragrance for them to offer.
We were the first to launch an independent mobile fragrance recommendation app. And we managed to build the largest community of users in all parts of the world. PERFUMIST is a collaborative application created for and by consumers. They are at the heart of our mission and are continuously involved in the creation and curation of data (adding new fragrances, brands, ratings, reviews ...). We do our best to offer them an app that meets their expectations and we are thrilled to see that our users are very involved in its development. Also, we are proud that we have the largest database of perfumes and the application is available in more than 40 languages.
A new version will come very soon with augmented perfume information, retail experiences, gamification to make the fragrance recommendation experience more fun for users, and community features.
