What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

Our app uses our own translation technology. Developing the translation technology was and is the most challenging aspect of the app development.

Luchezar Jackov is CTO of SkyCode Ltd. and project manager for their translation system. He has more than 25 years of coding experience and has participated in a number of large scale projects. In his free time he likes to ski, snow kite and kite surf.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

I don't have any :)

How long have you been working on this app?

We've been developing the technology for 20 years. We have offline translation apps since 2012.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

The app is specifically targeted for tourists going abroad, where there is either no internet/data connection or it is very unstable. We have free versions of the apps so that anyone can try them and see if they meet their expectations.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

We think our app has the best price/performance ratio. It also has features that no other app has, such as offline voice input. We're proud to apply our own translation technology which allows translating between 8 languages in less than 200 MB of storage space.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

We're planning to add a conversation mode, in-picture translation, and add more languages.
