Ninjalitics – Followers & likes analytics - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Yea, I developed several native mobile applications using Swift/Objective C and Java.

While for Ninjalitics we chose do develop it with React Native, multi-platform. Our aim was to make it faster and easier when releasing new updates.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

The most difficult challenge was being able to provide a User Experience that matched the one from the website, even from a mobile. Therefore, to make the data shown in graphs easy to read, keeping an attractive design.

Our main goal is to offer a user experience never seen before by making the numbers simple and readable for everyone. This has been the key to Ninjalitics' success. And this is what we have tried to replicate in 5-inch screens.

The interviewee, Andrea Barbieri, is the co-Founder and IT head at Ninjalitics; a company that gives you kick-ass analytics about your Instagram profile.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

I love Oval APP so much. It allows me to save money weekly and also because it is a very accurate app, both in terms of user experience and design.

Some must-have apps that have now entered our common use: Whatsapp, Instagram and Telegram.

How long have you been working on this app?

Between the development of the API and therefore of the entire backend part, the development of version 1.0 took about 4 months. But Ninjalitics is constantly expanding and work in progress, so I never consider it finished.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

To understand how they would use the application, we asked our community directly. Therefore we set goals (i.e. common functions used by our users) and we tried to make them as simple as possible. Speeding up the use of some key data for our users as well.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

There are few applications similar to ours, but as mentioned above ours is built on the real needs of our users and I'm very proud of this. We have not limited ourselves to showing the data but we interpret them and make them understandable and accessible to everyone.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

We will integrate various functions that have already been available for some time in the web app to show profile business insights data. Finally, we will proceed to the creation of an influencer marketing campaign management system. Our aim is to make life easier for those real influencers who struggle to find collaborations with companies and vice versa.

Assuming new users of your app are reading this page. What do you want to ask them to do (contact you about X, Share the app, etc.)?

I would simply like to invite them to use the app to improve their personal profile and to talk about it with their friends, colleagues and especially companies to avoid negative experiences with influencers or social media managers. In my opinion, if you really want to grow on Instagram in the right way, having Ninjalitics is a basic requirement :)
