Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

I had a small amount of experience programming but Nexus Revamped was one of the first apps I wrote and it was my gateway into software development many years ago. It kick-started what has been a fulfilling career for me.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

The trickiest part of creating a live wallpaper app like this is efficiency. It's got to look smooth without draining your battery or stuttering when you interact with it. It’s been an adventure learning how to do this and I’m pleased with the results!

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

I'm a big fan of Palette. It's a showcase for user creativity in customizing homescreens with wallpapers, icons, and widgets. I love seeing the beautiful creations other users have come up with and it gives me inspiration for my own.

How long have you been working on this app?

I started working on this app back in 2010. I had a break from Android development for a few years and the app was really starting to show its age, so recently I did a full revamp to kick it back into action and modernize it for the latest versions of Android.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

Nexus Revamped initially scratched my own itch for a truly customizable wallpaper. The fact that it resonated with so many others has been an incredibly rewarding experience to me.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

What sets this apart is its flexibility. Nexus Revamped gives you a large number of customization options. You're the artist; we just provide the canvas and the paint.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?
