Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

No, I didn’t have any prior development experience in Android App Development but I have a strong knowledge of Web Development.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

The challenging aspect is learning, there are tons of tutorials available on the internet but they are in English. I’m not that fluent in English, so it is hard to understand the real meaning of certain concepts.

I’m Suseelan John, the developer of “Nellai Jobs” Android application. I love to do anything related to computers. I am a law student and junior advocate, and I wish to develop a law-oriented application in the future.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

'Vakkeel Dada'...an application where you can get a lot of legal articles in my native language.

How long have you been working on this app?

It is a simple application. It took 3-4 nights for its development. I skipped a lot of complicated modules because the need of this application for my local area was urgent.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

I live in a rural area, thus I am focusing on those people.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

“Build for others”, these are my inspirational words spoken by Steve Jobs. Nellai is a small old town in India where knowledgeable people are high in ratio but opportunities are really low, especially job-wise. So I developed this application for my local people with love...no other app did this.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

After the launch of this application, I got a lot of personal suggestions to add a “Resume Builder” module. So now I am working on that part.
