I am an iOS developer with 1 year of experience.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

During the development time the most challenging part was Islamic Prayer Time calculation. Because the app provides prayer times anywhere in the world. that are calculated based on astronomical measurements, location, time zone, date, sunrise...etc with a complex algorithm reference: http://praytimes.org/calculation.

My Name is Jishnu Raj T, I am basically an iOS developer, it's not my profession, but my passion. Worked as a Jr developer in an iOS team that wrote apps for iPhone at 'AppZoc Technologies'. Developed native based iPhone applications using Swift, XCode, iPhone SDK and Cocoa Touch framework.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

My favorite app is PUBG because I am a game lover.

How long have you been working on this app?

For 6 months and we are still working on it to make it more reliable and easy, and to provide new features in it.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

There is no full-featured Malayalam calendar for iPhone, that's why I started the project.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

It has a more user-friendly UI design and more extra features than other Malayalam calendars like: 3D Touch, Quick Actions, Global Islamic Prayer times, Real-time weather reports, Vachanapetty, Qibla finder, Global Sunrise and Sunset, Reminders.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

Accessibility features for disabled or temporary disabled persons like blind, deaf, color blinded etc.
