I also don't like the risk of accidentally sending an intimate message to the wrong person. Just Between Us lets you password protect the app and you sync with only one other person so there's no risk of accidentally sending a message, photo, or video to an unintended recipient.
For one, it's designed to be fun and flirty. There are Easter Eggs throughout, where depending on what you type modifies what goes on the screen. There's Thumb Kisses, where when you're apart and on the phone at the same time, as you each move your thumb around the screen, and they line up, both phones will vibrate.
