Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Yes, nSmiles has developed multiple apps to help students, employees in stressful jobs, home-makers and pregnant women enhance wellbeing by providing tools for self-awareness and self-care

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

Personalizing wellbeing and bring the right set of psychology tools on to a mobile screen to keep them simple, practical to use, and yet effective for every user.

nSmiles helps enhance mental health & wellbeing of students, employees and home makers to feel happier and perform to one's best potential. Our evidence based self-assessment, self-care tools and graded support are powered by Mobile & AI technologies to ensure personalised care, available at the time of need and accessible for all.

How long have you been working on this app?

1 year.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

It is very common to face stress in the day to day in our current lifestyles. Research has proven exposure to stress for prolong duration when left un-managed has a huge impact on individuals' health & immunity, physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing, and overall happiness and productivity of the individual as well as impacting the wellbeing of his near & dear ones. This app helps to understand the stressors of an individual, personalizes simple practical activities each day to help de-stress, enhance wellbeing, overall happiness, and productivity of the individual.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

There are several apps like Calm, headspace, and many more that provide wonderful meditation and relaxation techniques. We have not come across an app that personalizes and prioritizing the areas an individual is struggling with.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

Several more tools being introduced for self-care and enhancing wellbeing across all the 8 pillar of an individual, further personalizations in preferred languages, see clear progress in each of your wellbeing goals.
