Good Morning, Friends! - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Yes, as you can guess, my main job is directly related to the development of games. I am a team lead developer. Unfortunately, at the moment my financial position doesn't allow me to give up my main job and to develop those games which I like. I have plans to create my own development studio of indie games.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

The most challenging aspects of developing mobile app were bright graphics and funny animations, i.e: find a highlight that immediately attracts the attention of the children. And one of the most important task were performance optimizations that have reduced the CPU, GPU and memory footprint to a minimum.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

I am fond of apps powered by 'Fox & Sheep GmbH'. For example “Nighty Night”, where kids must send the animals to sleep, and I think that they create simple funny games for kids.

How long have you been working on this app?

I have been working on this app about a year, taking breaks to find own inspiration and make my brainchild most attractive for the children.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

For kids, for babies, education, learning...Interesting, funny game, familiarity with the world of animals.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

One day our eyes caught the application called "Nighty Night" from 'Fox & Sheep GmbH', in which children play with animals and then send them to sleep. Children were delighted. Waking up in the morning, they were running to wake their beloved friends up, but unfortunately, they had already woken up, despite the early morning. After reading the reviews from other parents, we realized that the problem needs to be solved. So the idea of the app was born, which took all our free time.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

In the next update I would like to release some more animals and maybe add new activities. In my future plans I will develop a second part of this game, maybe it would be about forest's animals or safari animals.
