Yes, I have been a software engineer both professionally and as a hobbyist for quite some time now. Our team has worked together on many smaller projects throughout the last decade or so before starting Fleets of Heroes.
Limited resources. We are an extremely small development team, I was the only programmer on the project. The most challenging aspect of the project as a whole, however, would be getting the name out there. Development is a bit more predictable than marketing.
Thibaut De Bock, Kevin Gardner, and Evan Morgan met at the University of Tennessee in 2006. At that time, their talents were dedicated to other endeavors, but throughout the course of their education and professional lives, they developed a set of skills which allowed them to create innovative, albeit simple (at first) video games. After forming Inner Hero LLC in 2017, the team began development on Fleets of Heroes, the premier title of the company. One soft launch and countless player-driven improvements later, we are now looking forward to launching Fleets of Heroes v2.0. Inner Hero LLC will not stop with Fleets of Heroes, and we already have more projects on the drawing board for the future.
Clash of Clans. It was a major inspiration for Fleets of Heroes. Instagram and Facebook to keep up with friends and family. Slack and Discord for work.

We wanted to touch on some aspects of base builders that we have not seen implemented in other games on the App Stores.
We bring in new levels of depth to a well known mobile gaming genre. We offer countless variations of upgradeable mods to our spaceships which can be collected, traded, and stacked onto the ships to make them bigger/faster/stronger. Our hero ships are also fully controllable throughout battle where you can move them where you want, attack any structure you want, as well as use special power moves. Our survival mode is a very unique and new mechanic we think is rather innovative for the genre. In this game mode you play on the defensive side, and try use your bases defense and hero ships offensively to hold back endless waves of enemies for as long as possible.
We would like to incorporate co-op style experiences where multiple people can play on the same bases and battles in real time. We also will implement skins for our hero ships and new tiers of equipment and resources.
