We are a team of two. My brother Alexey has extensive experience in programming and computer science, and he is responsible for all technical aspects of our apps. I’m not a technical person, so I prepare the application content and respond to user feedback.
From the technical point of view, the hardest part was the integration of ads and in-app-purchases so that everything worked smoothly and without crashes.
Andrey and Alexey came to the United States from St. Petersburg, Russia for graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh. After getting Ph.D. degrees (Andrey in Chemistry and Alexey in Mathematics), they decided to create educational mobile apps. They now live and work in Seattle.
Currently, my favorite app is “DailyArt - Your Daily Dose of Art” because I love art and learning. You can learn a lot about famous and not-so-famous paintings and artists.
The first version of Flags app was published in 2014. Since then, we’ve added many new features and languages to our old apps and created new ones.
Education will always be a relevant and important part of our life. I’m always happy to receive feedback from users that our apps helped them pass an exam or refresh their knowledge of world geography.
I have liked geography since I was a child. So I believe that my deep knowledge of the subject helps make our apps outstanding. My brother makes sure that everything works fast and without bugs. And we provide many different ways of learning and keep the app design simple.
We are going to add multiplayer modes to our apps and other engaging features such as the Daily Challenge.
I encourage users who have liked our app about flags to check out our other educational apps on a variety of topics: from world geography and US presidents to organic chemistry and names of flowers.
About App:
How many flags can you guess? Do you know what the Mexican flag looks like? Do you remember the order of colors on the Irish flag? This free education app will refresh your memory of national flags and you'll learn beautiful flags of such exotic countries as Maldives or Dominica.
The app is translated into 30 languages, including English, German, Spanish and many others. So you can learn the names of the countries and capital cities in any foreign language.
Advertisements can be removed by an in-app-purchase.
This is an excellent and fun game for all students of world geography. Or are you a sports fan who needs help to recognize the flags of national teams? Find the national flag of your state and learn other flags by heart!
