FB Advanced Search - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Yes, I had. I was working as a freelancer for over 2 years, and I developed cross-platform apps and even games.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

The challenge I faced was managing the search filters that Facebook uses.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

I'm a game man my self, I love 2D/3D games on mobile and for the apps I only use the productive ones.

How long have you been working on this app?

Approximately 7 days (the filters algorithm took me that long), I did the coding in 1 day.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

The goals of 'Facebook' are clear, friendship is one of these goals, so to make people search easier I developed this app in case someone can't find a person just by their name (classic search).

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

I think there isn't another app, if there is, I would like to give it a try and see the difference myself.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

I first expect feedback from the users in order to to add their wishes.
