Yes. I am an Engineer and I used to code on C++, PHP, and other languages. It took me a couple of months to get used to Android Java.
It is very difficult to support all resolutions, different screens, and hardware across Android devices. My apps usually require at least Android 4.04, which is quite old! It’s also very difficult to code with so little official support from Google. Documentation about Android is very sparse.

I make my apps for myself. Most of then exist only so I can use it. But I guess I really admire Netflix App, because it works everywhere, almost flawless! I know how difficult this is!
For more than a year! It’s very interested because I launched the first app version and I though nobody was going to used. When I realized more than 1000 people started using my app, I decided to really start taking it seriously. Today, I have more than 150K active users!
I created apps for myself. So, I am the primary user! Then, when everything works and it is useful, I publish on Google Play. I think I always focus on simplicity and very little interface design. Simple and easy!
The major difference between Electronic Component Pinouts and the other similar apps is the fact that everything is offline, it does not require internet connection. It’s quite fast because all database is local! And it is very big, with almost 80K different components and boards. It’s a small, efficient and easy-to-use app.
I would really like to team up with design specialists and improve my interface. It’s very old style and simple. In the future, I hope to work on that.
Always keep in mind I’m not a corporation. I’m a single developer! Stop giving all apps one star rating every time something wrong happens. It’s not my fault! At least, not always! Electronic Component Pinouts app has a feedback suggestion inside the application so users can suggest new components. This is a very good way to improve my app!
