Yes of course! I've been an Android Engineer for the last 6 years. I've been working for product based companies most of the time, writing the Android clients. I'm currently working for GoMore, a Danish company based in Copenhagen. But I am a full time remote worker so I work from Spain. I also know a bit about other platforms like backend, because as a mobile developer I've always needed a backend side for my pet projects. So I've needed to write some APIs here and there.
There are many things to take into account. We the devs, as engineers, we really want to write code in the right way. That means applying important architecture concepts, cover your codebase with automatic tests, and many other things. Also note that you need to work on design and user experience on your app by yourself when we are talking about a pet project, which I also find pretty interesting and rewarding. If we think about product companies, I'd say the most challenging aspect development wise would be to find the perfect balance between writting features and keeping your codebase safe (writting tests, configuring a good continuous integration/continuous delivery automatic system, and other things).
Graduated from the University of Murcia. Android engineer, full time remote worker. Focused on good practices, architecture, clean code, testing, learning. Currently focused on applying functional programing over Android architectures using Kotlin. Also a speaker, I have spoken in many events like Kotlinconf, Droidcon Greece, Mobilization Poland (2016 & 2017), Google IO Extended Madrid, Codemotion 2016, and many other national and international events.
I really like Twitter client, even if it has some detractors. The nature of this social network keeps me very interested. I also like how it creates a lot of community on my profession. Almost every Android engineer is on Twitter today. I also love GoMore, not just because that's where I work! If you are interested on ridesharing in a cheaper way than BlaBlaCar, or even renting/leasing a car, I would definitely recommend you to use it. I would also have to mention Gmail and Calendar, those seem pretty basic but they are key for me on a daily basis at work.
It has been a matter of 4-5 days, not much for now. I'm preparing very cool new features though. Stay tunned.
I wanted to gather all the factors that are important for an investor when trading with cryptocurrencies. You need to have a real time reference of the prices for each coin, good charts, but also keep informed about real time news and interesting tweets (social media) about the crypto market. By merging these 3 flows of data, you should be aware of any possible fluctuation on any of the coins you are interested and you should be able to react ahead in time for trading efficiently.
There are not many apps gathering news, tweets and prices + charts (plus other interesting features I plan to release soon) in Google Play for the time being. Even if there are many apps to track prices, that's probably not enough. So I think that's a key idea. I am also planning to add something related to machine learning to help users to trade efficiently, but that's still on the works, so I can't give more details about that yet.
- Mostly using machine learning to predict market data and provide accurate suggestions on when / how / which coins to trade. That's in the works right now. - Also iterating over good ways to keep the user always in track of the market on different levels. - I've also been planning a release where you should be able to build your coin wallet and even might be possible to trade within the app. But this is still not done.
I would recommend the app to people interested on trading cryptos or even just on taking a look at the market and being informed about it. Give it a try. It's a simple tool but really helpful. It would also be so kind if you can share this article or the app link from the Google Play Store itself.
