Brain Booster – Brain training games - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

I was trained up to Bac +3 in France in IT development, with an introduction to Android development. On my side, I took training further, and I also learned to develop with iOS.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

The app wasn't too hard to develop, it just came up with some great original ideas for brain development games. I wanted to integrate mental arithmetic, but everyone does it on a daily basis, so I told myself that it was essential to offer exercises that are fun while posing real problems that make you think.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

There are a lot of projects that I have enjoyed since the early days of Android, here are the ones I use the most on a daily basis:
Songsterr: For playing guitar and learning new songs, Smart Audiobook player for audiobooks: It is, for me, the best app besides listening/managing its audiobooks with ease, Dealabs: To locate good plans.

How long have you been working on this app?

It's just been a story of about two months. Then I added new languages and new games as we updated.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

With old age, our brain loses capacity and competence if we do not exercise, Brain Booster offers exercises to train daily and preserve.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

Brain booster offers exercises in the most important areas of our everyday life: mental arithmetic, memorization, reflexes. There are also the statistics and the profile to follow your progress and especially to see where we are the strongest and the worst. All wrapped up in a clean design suitable for all ages. One of the big advantages is the time, an exercise lasts only a minute, and the application adapts to the changing level of the user.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

I will add new games and surely a new category. As well as new languages.

I would first like to thank you for reading. Then it would be great if you try the app, I think the best is to make up your own mind. Each game lasts only 1 minute, what is it over 24 hours in a day? You train your brain to solve increasingly complex problems, which allows you to significantly slow down its aging. So what are you waiting for? :)
