Basket Manager 2018 Free - Interview with the developer of a fantastic app

Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Yes, one of us is a professional programmer in an important company in Spain, and both of us are making RPG Pen & Paper games since a long time ago.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

Probably is finding what the people really want. Sometimes you have a lot of people asking for absolutely opposite things, you need to find a balance in that...and try to follow your own idea.

Name a few of your favorite apps and reason you love them.

My favorite is probably Plague Inc, it's a really well thought game, that made you think and it's awesomely simple in it's design. It's pure elegance.

How long have you been working on this app?

We're working on this for 4 years, we started in the year 2014 and since then, we had 5 versions. This last one has been the most challenging, cause we started again from scratch, cause we want to expand much more than before.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

We want to make happy people who love the Basketball and the management, Statistics Geeks. They are very loyal, and a very rewarding fanbase. Maybe the game it's not for everyone, but the one who likes it...he loves it.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

We think our app it's nothing like in the market. Yes, it's a management sports game, but it's pure text, nothing more, nothing less. We are pure data and simulation engine, nothing fancy... but we try to distill the essence of the management in a very simple way.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

First, we want to recover what we had in BM 17 again, and we're working on that. After that, we have lot of ideas, historical awards in players, more control in settings of simulation to the players, an editor and in a long future, maybe the ability to play online.

We just want them to enjoy! And please remember, this is just the humble work of two friends in their spare time, trying to do their best.
